1. Get the best views of Hill Inlet & Whitehaven Beach from the viewing platform accessed from Betty’s Beach or Tongue Bay. Get there before mid-morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds.
2. Or, even better, get an aerial view & book an Air Whitsunday scenic flight to pick you up from your boat and take you on an air tour over the beach & surrounding islands.
3. Pack a breakfast picnic and head over to watch the sunrise before any of the crowds get there by mid-morning. This is sure to provide some #bestholiday snaps for your instagram account.
4. Choose your spot wisely. To get a patch of beach all to yourself through the day aim for mid-beach where day boats are less likely anchor or the south side of hill inlet, where you can explore the inlet and the beach in one.
