Whitsunday Weather

The Whitsundays & Airlie Beach enjoy a sub-tropical tropical climate year-round making for the perfect beach and sailing holiday, sitting on the same latitude as Honolulu and Mauritius.

Protection by surrounding Mountain ranges, islands and the Great Barrier Reef offer calm, protected waters with moderate winds allowing plenty of opportunity to sail and dozens of anchorages for protection should the weather turn unfavourable.

Current Weather Conditions

Charter Yachts Australia monitor weather from the Bureau of Meteorology with the Bowen to St Lawrence marine forecast providing weather coverage for the Whitsundays.
