Nothing says ‘Christmas in Australia’ more than throwing a few prawns (or shrimps for our American friends!) on the Barbie, playing some beach cricket and taking an avro nap! Spend Christmas day enjoying fresh seafood & other local produce from one of our provisioning partners, then hit the beach (Whitehaven Beach that is – yep, the most famous aussie beach) before retiring back to your boat for a leisurely nap on the back-deck lounges, front deck tramps or by getting gently rocked to sleep in your cabin.

Bring the family back down to earth by taking the focus off the material gifts and enjoy the best of what nature has to offer. While there may not be a chimney on board form Santa to climb down, have fun with the kids collecting twigs and sticks from the islands to make your own Christmas tree, spend the days swimming the reef with Manta Rays and Turtles, wander the secluded beaches for shells and teach your kids how to sail. This might just be the year you get away with not getting them the latest PlayStation game, but we’re pretty sure they still call it their favourite Christmas yet!

If your days leading up to Christmas are spent running around buying last minute presents, coordinating Christmas day visits to extended family, and organising a feast for the army– leave it all behind and charter a boat.
